The rating of the Third Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award came to an end and the organizer held a simple but solemn award ceremony at Lia Charlton Hotel Shenzhen on January 16, 2015, supported and instructed by Guangdong Copyright Office, Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Right Office) and other related authorities. The award ceremony was attended by Deputy Director Chen Chunhuai of Guangdong Copyright Office, major leaders from the Copyright Management Section of Guangdong Copyright Office and the full-time leaders from the Intellectual Property Right Promotion Section, Protection Section and Fairness Section of Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration.

　　Ever since the outset, the rating of the Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award has grown into a brand of the Shenzhen copyright industry and played an important guiding role in promoting the industry development. It has set an advanced example in different links of copyright creation, application, protection and management, given full play to the guiding and pilot effect of these good examples and forged a long-acting mechanism inspiring copyright creation and application.

　　The event has played a positive role in establishment of copyright protection, copyright-related social service system and other aspects, and made an outstanding contribution to promoting the prosperity and development of the copyright industry.

　　After organizing two Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award events with success, Shenzhen has done a good job to build the social service system for copyright protection. The rating of the Third Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award is intended to promote the development of the industrial chain of cultural creative and copyright. The organizing committee has rated a total of 25 awards, including “Copyrighted Works Gold Award”, the “Copyrighted Application Gold Award”, the “Copyrighted Protection Gold Award”, the “Excellent Copyright Manager Award”, the “Most Influential Enterprise Award for Copyright Industry” and the “Special Contribution Award for Copyright Industry” in order to safeguard rights and interests of original works, inherit the original spirit and praise and encourage those outstanding representatives that have made eminent contributions in the copyright area.

　　The event officially kicked off on November 12, 2014. In addition to the original work, the organizing committee delivered an announcement to all members and all circles of the society with the mobile application of Shenzhen Copyright Society, and solicited bidding information and materials through the official website, email box, WeChat public platform and Moments. Finally, the organizing committee set up a review panel consisting of famous scholars, industry experts and professional representatives to review the works bidding for the awards in the principle of independence, equality and objectivity, which has made the recent Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award more influential.

　　The event has embraced vigorous support from Shenzhen Economic Daily, Tencent Guangdong Network, Shenzhen News Network and other media, and attracted extensive response and active bidding in the society. This has fully proved enterprises and copyright holders have become more aware of copyright protection and acknowledged Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award. Besides, the event has newly designed the “Excellent Copyright Manager Award”, the “Most Influential Enterprise Award for Copyright Industry” and the “Special Contribution Award for Copyright Industry”. These awards are designed to highlight the importance of cultivating copyright application and protection professionals. In addition, they are intended to acknowledge and encourage those enterprises and persons that have long paid attention to copyright industry.
